Taking an in-person aromatherapy class requires commitment, but for all your commitment you get a lot back, too. When you attend one of our Aromatherapy classes here at Stillpoint, whether it is a weekend workshop or one of our longer Certification classes, you will always leave with tons of information and useful tools for your aromatherapy toolbox (plus you’ll have lots of fun and eat wonderful snacks to feed your brain and soul).
We believe that learning should always be an exciting journey. (And besides, a trip to Sedona is always worth it!) We have a lot of experience with essential oils and we have the added bonus of being experienced teachers. We both taught elementary school in New York and our classrooms were always the place to be. We feel the same way about our Aromatherapy classroom. We team teach every class so you will get our shared knowledge, humor and perspectives on the use of essential oils.
What can I expect in an aromatherapy class?
We provide each student with a binder so that you always leave us with a great reference tool for the future. While in our classes, you may want to take some notes, so most students bring their own notebook. We will provide you with recipe sheets so you can record the wonderful blends that you create while you are with us. Aromatherapy is supposed to be fun! We help you create so many wonderful products in each of our classes.
You will always leave with many useful creams, sprays, lotions and potions to incorporate into your everyday life. Everyone knows someone with a pain, right? Well, you can bet we will most likely be creating some kind of a blend for that! In every class, we talk about how essential oils relate to our emotional/energetic body, so you know we will be making something in class to help assist you in your own emotional balance.
We highly value the classroom experience and love to see the friendships and bonds that are created within each of our classes. We all need to have connection with others, and what better way than to sit next to and be in the energy of other like-minded individuals who are on the “aroma journey” as well?
