Should I Take Another Aromatherapy Certification Course?

You may be thinking, “I have my Aromatherapy Certification. Why should I consider another?”

If this is the case, ask yourself—would you like to know more? Would you like to feel more comfortable with the chemistry or the energetics of essential oils? We know that there are many different Aromatherapy education options available, but many of our students feel they are perpetual learners and enjoy the classroom experience.

As teachers and students ourselves, we really do get this concept. We feel it is fun to stretch our brains, and one of the most enjoyable parts of taking classes is the community, friendships and camaraderie.

Why should I take more Aromatherapy classes at Stillpoint?

Even if you have taken other Aromatherapy Certification Programs, the experience at Stillpoint Studies is quite unique. We created a 250-hour Certification Program because there is so much material that we feel needs to be covered in that beginning level and we want to enrich and enhance basic training beyond just 200 hours.

The Stillpoint Advanced Intensive Aromatherapy Class in Sedona

We also have developed our Advanced Intensive Program which is 165 hours beyond our beginning Certification level so that when our students have completed these two courses, they will have 415 hours of Aromatherapy training. Our Advanced Intensive Program takes the knowledge acquired in the first 250 hours and goes even deeper. In it, we study essential oils through a more specific lens—that of individual chemical components that are found in the ten chemical families.

Vibrational Aromatic Medicine Aromatherapy Class in Sedona

In our new Certification Program, Vibrational Aromatic Medicine, we look at the correlation between the ten chemical families, specific chemical components, and their vibrational and energetic aspects. Many people are intrigued and want to know more about the energetics as they relate to essential oils (and we think you may already have some ideas about them, right?).

It is really important to have a SOLID grasp of essential oil chemistry, though, before taking Stillpoint’s Certification in Vibrational Aromatic Medicine. This is one of the reasons why you may want to consider taking one of our Certification Programs with us. Do you remember when you were learning to read or to play a musical instrument? Do you remember how much you had to practice and then practice some more? We both are excellent teachers and we know the value in helping and encouraging our students to practice aromatherapy – we repeat a lot because it really is necessary. One study in particular done at Dartmouth College tells of the benefits of how spaced review and practice enhances long term learning and memory.

Build on your knowledge of essential oils and Aromatherapy.

Because we have over thirty years each of educational experience and training, we really know how to teach and how to make the classroom experience both fun and stimulating. We invest ourselves in each class we teach and want each student to leave feeling competent and confident. Today, essential oils are being used in many ways. They are being used as a complementary therapy – as an adjunct or complement to other alternative modalities. They have become part of everyday lives and we often see people constantly seeking to learn more and understand more how they can use essential oils.

Some have even taken Certification Programs, but they don’t have that sense of confidence or competence. If you would like to build on some of the things you may already know, or if you would like a deeper understanding of essential oils, chemistry and energetics then you might consider taking another Certification course here at Stillpoint.
